Chinese Republican Period Peking Glass Necklace — Carved Art Deco
This is an antique necklace from the Chinese Republican Period, measuring 52cm in length. It is crafted from Peking glass designed to mimic high-grade amber, featuring intricate auspicious cloud and scroll motifs. The era is early 20th century, with the craftsmanship reflecting traditional Chinese symbols of luck and status. The beads display the cool, swirled translucency typical of genuine Peking glass, and the piece has been fit with a modern silver-toned clasp for durability. The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, maintaining its original allure with no visible scratches or chips on the beads.
