Pair of Decorative Eggs — Marble and Papier-Mâché
This lot includes two decorative eggs: one crafted from marble and the other from papier-mâché. The marble egg features a natural, subtle veining pattern with a smooth finish, indicative of its stone composition. The papier-mâché egg is adorned with intricate gold and black floral patterns, highlighting its handcrafted nature. The items are unmarked, with the marble egg likely originating from a region known for stone crafts, and the papier-mâché piece showcasing traditional decorative elements. Both items appear to be modern creations. The marble egg is in excellent condition, while the papier-mâché egg shows minor signs of wear consistent with age and handling.
