Late Victorian/Early Edwardian Oak Mantel Clock — Junge & Co. Movement

This is a late Victorian to early Edwardian oak mantel clock, featuring an architectural style with fluted columns and a pediment top. The brass movement inside is marked by Junge & Co., identifiable by the 8-pointed star stamp with a 'J' and 'JUNGE' inscription. Originating from Germany, this clock was made for the British or European market and dates from circa 1890s to 1910s. The oak case exhibits notable surface wear, scuffs, and finish loss around the edges and base, consistent with its age as a restoration project piece. The brass movement and pendulum appear visually complete but are untested for functionality and no key included.

Keywords: oak mantel clock, Victorian clock, Edwardian, Junge & Co., antique clock, German movement, architectural style, restoration project, fluted columns, pediment top, collectible clocks
