Vintage 1930s Oak 'Napoleon Hat' Mantel Clock — For Restoration
This item is a vintage 1930s Art Deco 'Napoleon Hat' mantel clock, designed in tambour style. It features a solid oak case with an arched silhouette. The clock is equipped with a traditional mechanical 8-day brass movement and a coiled gong chime, accessible through a rear hinged door. The dial has a silvered face with bold black numerals and a brass bezel. This piece dates from circa 1930s–1940s, aligning with the Art Deco period characteristics. Note the clock is sold as-is for parts or restoration, with a dented dial face at the bottom-right near the 4 o'clock mark and light surface wear. The movement appears complete, though untested, and no key is included.
